Nursery (Ducklings)
From ages 3 Months to 3 Years
Our nursery is a safe and secure area, dedicated to the younger children in our setting. It is a bright and stimulating area offering a caring environment.
Children are encouraged to explore through activities and play is centred on their needs and interests.
We provide adult interaction and sensory experiences.
Pre-School (Duckies)
Ages 3 years to 5 Years
Our Pre-School is a bright, spacious and interactive space. With different sections to incorporate the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Children are encouraged to learn through play and our highly trained practitioners include the children’s interests in our planning.
We also help the children prepare for school through self-selection of activities and independence.
Garden
We have a dedicated undercover outside garden where we provide physical play opportunities. We have a range of sensory experiences, including our mud kitchen and sand tray.
Our aim is to incorporate all the areas of the EYFS by providing a range of different activities, including books, arts and crafts and small-world toys.
Rain or shine you will find us in the garden.
Soft Play
We have a large soft play area with a slide, ball pool and indoor swing.
The soft play area helps the children build independence and confidence. As well as a safe area to burn off energy.
We also have an indoor grass area where we provide a variety of physical toys and opportunities.
Sleep Room
We have a dedicated area for our children to sleep in. Younger children can use our wooden cots and the older children can use our sleep mats.
Our cosy, calm and quiet environment is perfect for the children to be well-rested for their fun filled day.
We follow children’s home routines and monitor the children regularly.
